THE REHAB STUDIO

Kareen began her career as a Physiotherapist with National University Hospital (NUH) since 2013, and subsequently went on to private hospital and clinics to gain work experience. She is an AHPC registered Physiotherapist.

Through her work exposure in different sectors, she has treated many patients with musculoskeletal, post-surgical and neurological conditions. 

​

 

Kareen has a strong interest in adopting Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to treat chronic pain conditions, post-surgical swelling and lymphedema conditions. She obtained her full advanced lymphedema certification from the Dr Vodder School (International) in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2022, and became one of the few Physiotherapists in Singapore with this accreditation.

She believes in walking her clients through their journey of recovery with pain reduction and restoring of mobility. She believes in evidence-based treatment and the right prescription of exercises to help her patients recover. Kareen believes in educating her patients on their conditions and empower them with the knowledge and strategies to improve their physical and overall well-being .

During her free time, she enjoys outdoor play with her toddler and taking nature walks.
